SKETCHES & COLORING

simple sketch of the pancake and the plate

sketch the idea of the pancake using procreate on iPad and then colour with adding details to the illustration

FINAL ILLUSTRATION

finishing the illustration by add shadow and texture to the drawing

PROCESS ANIMATION

import illustrations on separate layers to adobe after effects. and arrange composition files.

start doing animation for each different layer by moving the keyframe to the position of the animation. add animation of the text - the writing effect ( to make it looks like the honey spreading), using the masking effect on top of the honey by masking on the pancake so the text looks transparent.

adding smear effect to animate the honey dropping and to move the layers into different positions to create a spreading effect.

finalising by creating a user preset for the shadow of the illustration, and also create a texture grain presets to enhance the animation.

to make the animation more ambiance I add an aesthetic music sound (coffee shop by Frad) from youtube with no copyright.
